Matthew Hellrung

Partner & Cofounder, Meltzer Hellrung

Matthew Hellrung graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.A. in political science and earned his J.D. from Duquesne University Law School. His practice focuses on non-immigrant and immigrant employment-based visa issues, as well as advising investors and large multi-national corporations on immigration practice and policy concerns. Matthew has represented clients from a variety of industries, including information technology, engineering, education, manufacturing, and entertainment industries. He has experience counseling investors and multi-national corporations on immigration issues arising from corporate reorganizations, mergers, and layoffs; obtaining B, E, H, J, L, O, P, R, and TN nonimmigrant visas; obtaining green cards under all employment-based categories; and advising on I-9 compliance issues. Matthew is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Chicago chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management.
