Josh Cutler is vice president of learning and development at HR, Talent & Systems, a boutique HR strategy firm that focuses on high growth companies - both startups and established. Josh began his career as an ESL teacher in the NYC public school system, where he spent nearly 14 years teaching both children and adults from over 60 foreign countries, speaking dozens of languages. He then used that as a springboard to launch his own L&D consultancy called Teach the Trainer, where he employed proven teaching strategies to improve employee engagement and retention, prior to being hired into his current role at HRTS. Josh's unique experience enables him to think simultaneously from two strategic perspectives - as both an HR partner to the business, as well as an expert educator choosing the appropriate instructional methodologies to link the learning needs to the business outcome. Josh has also established himself as one of the top HR super connectors on Linkedin. He is an expert networker and looks forward to meeting more executive HR leaders as he pursues his next VP of L&D role in 2024.
