Chief People Officer at Lawline
Michele Richman is the Chief People Officer at Lawline, the leading provider of online legal education and professional development training. Michele leads the HR team responsible for hiring, developing, growing, and retaining top talent, while also ensuring the company is protected from legal and cybersecurity risks. She is certified in the Frame of Mind Coaching methodology and provides executive coaching to all members of Lawline’s leadership team. Michele conducts both internal and external training on various topics, including coaching for employee growth, building a great team culture in a remote environment, supporting employee well-being and mental health while achieving company metrics, and boosting employee retention through Stay Interviews. In 2024, Michele was recognized with OnCon’s Top 100 HR Professionals award. Before joining Lawline, Michele worked as an enforcement attorney for the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and as a plaintiff-side personal injury attorney. Michele enjoys training with her local women’s triathlon group and playing board games and traveling with her husband and two teenage sons.
